Obituary:
Dorotha H. McCorkle, 71, Liberty Center, died this morning at her home.
She was born July 8, 1912, in Liberty Center, to George M. and Nettie (Mohler) Saul. She married Albert McCorkle on May 23, 1981, and he survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. David (Jeanette) Ruiz, Liberty Center; twin sons Robert, of Napoleon, and William, of Defiance; a twin brother, Donald, of Toledo; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Two grandchildren, two sisters and five brothers preceded her in death.
Mrs. McCorkle had been a clerk at Morrison’s Department Store, Liberty Center, many years ago. She also had been a meat cutter for Liberty Center Food Locker.
She was a member of Liberty Center United Methodist Church, where funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. The Reverend Roselin Runnels will officiate, and interment will be in Youngs Cemetery.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. tonight and all day Saturday at Croll-Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center, or from noon to 2 p.m., Sunday, at the church.
The family suggests any memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, Board of Mental Retardation or the United Methodist Church.
