Services for Ray E. McCabe, 82, Liberty Center, were held Monday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Liberty Center. Reverend Raymond Reinbolt officiated.
Mr. McCabe died Friday in Heller Memorial Hospital, Napoleon.
He was born August 22, 1894, in Henry County, the son of Charles and Sylvia (Hull) McCabe. On August 5, 1923, he married Dorothy Herrmann and she survives.
The deceased was a World War I veteran and was employed in the maintenance department of Bowling Green State University, retiring in 1964. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Liberty Center.
Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Betty) Bradish, Adrian, Michigan, and Mrs. Robert (Arlene) Regan, Toledo; three sons, Wayne, Liberty Center, Bernard, Grand Rapids, and Merlin, Delta; 19 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and five great-grand-children.
Croll-Wright funeral borne was in charge of the arrangements. Burial was in Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center.
