She was very active in charitable organizations, being director of the Doreas Welfare Society of the church and holding many responsible positions during her life in the church. She was also president of the Liberty Center Garden Club and was faithful in carrying out her duties until sickness came upon her.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband Dan, her mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Smith ol Rudolph, O., her sisters, Mrs. Lola Spiess of Liberty Center, Mrs. Lula Shock of Defiance, Mrs. Mildred Butts of Washington D. Like the Good Samaritan of the Bible, Pearl was a good neighbor and a helping hand to any and all in need.
