Lucille Bartels, 85, of Napoleon died Sunday at Northcrest Nursing Home of Napoleon.
Born Aug. 8, 1911, in Hamler, she was the daughter of Eard and Edith (King) Henricks. She married Otto Lindhorst, who preceded her in death in 1945. She then married Otto Bartels, who preceded her in death, in 1971.
She was a retired homemaker and a former member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Liberty Center.
She is survived by two sons, Clarence Lindhorst of Napoleon and Robert Lindhorst of Houston, Texas; a stepson, Robert Bartels of Liberty Center; a daughter, Sandra Wilson of Hicksville; three brothers, Clifford Henricks of Fayette, Burdette Henricks of Arizona and Jean Henricks of Lyons, Ohio; two sisters. Rose Mary Wagner of Brownsville, Texas, and Joan Corressel of Long Lake, Mich.; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a stepson, Walter Bartels; a daughter, Janet Torkelson; and two sisters. Hazel McKenzie and Marcella Biddle.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Walker Mortuary of Napoleon, Pastor William Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Youngs Cemetery of Liberty Center.
Visitation will be at the mortuary from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
