John Levien I, 57, Liberty Center, died Sunday evening at Fulton County Health Center, Wauseon.
He was born August 31, 1919, in Marion, the son of William and Alice (Miley) Levien. On May 14, 1944, he married Mildred Chrobarger and she survives.
The deceased was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Liberty Center, where he was a former Sunday School superintendent and a former deacon at the church. He was a veteran of the Navy. He was employed in the maintenance department at Campbell Soup Company, Napoleon.
Surviving besides his wife are one son, John F. Levien II, Gulliver, Michigan; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Carolyn) Walters, Defiance, and Mrs. Pamela Myles, Delta; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald, Bucyrus; and one sister, Mrs. Harold (Virginia) Gabriel, Fairborn.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Liberty Center, with Reverend Raymond Reinbolt officiating.
Interment will be made in Young Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Friends may call at the Croll-Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center, after 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
