Debra Lynn Leininger, 14, 606 Maple Street, Liberty Center, died at 5:30 a.m. today (Wednesday), at St. Luke’s Hospital, Toledo.
Born April 15, 1959, in Napoleon, she was the daughter of Dale and Judy (Travis) Leininger.
The deceased was a freshman at Liberty Center High School. She was also a member of the United Methodist Church, the Cadet Girl Scout Troop No. 955, and the Busy Bee 4-H Club.
Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Leininger, Liberty Center; two brothers, Danny and Douglas, at home; three sisters, Diane Kay, Dawn Michelle and Di-Anna Kimm, all at home; paternal grandfather, Earl M. Leininger, Swanton; and material grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Travis, Liberty Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, at the Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, with Reverend Charles Hershey; pastor of the Wesleyan Church, Liberty Center, officiating. Interment will be in the Young Cemetery, Liberty Center. Friends may call at the mortuary from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Friday.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the art section of the Liberty Center Public Library.
