Marian F. Slee, 55, Liberty Center, died Saturday evening in Flower Hospital, Sylvania, following a long illness.
She was born in Liberty Center on October 18, 1924, to William M. and Maude (Bowers) Mann. On August 4, 1946, she married Harold B. Slee, who survives.
The deceased retired in October, 1975, after 30 years of employment as a drug store clerk. She had worked at Pettits Drugs, Jennings Drugs and Gilbert and Herr Drugs, all at Liberty Center.
A member of the Liberty Center United Methodist Church, she had served as communion steward for many years. She was also a member and past matron of the Pacific Chapter #63 of the Order of the Eastern Star of Liberty Center, and was a member of the Wauseon Ladies of the Elks.
Surviving, besides her husband, are two sons, Lee, Bowling Green, and Kurt, at home; a granddaughter; and her mother, Maude Mann, Liberty Center.
One brother preceded her in death.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Liberty Center United Methodist Church, the Reverend Thomas Hanover officiating. Interment will be in Young’s Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Friends may call at the Croll-Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center, from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday and at the church from noon on Tuesday to the time of services.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
