Thomas P. Konwinski, age 78 of Liberty Center, OH, passed away on Monday in the North Crest Nursing Home in Napoleon, OH.
Thomas retired in 1976 from the Oregon School System, where he had worked for 10 years. Prior to that, he had worked for the Chase Bag Co. and Champion Spark Plug. He had been an avid Pigeon Jockey for years. Preceding him in death was his wife, Virginia, who passed away in 1991.
Surviving are his sons Thomas J. (Carol) Konwinski and Timothy (Barbara) Konwinski; sisters, Martha Wilheim and Sister Euphrasine, C.S.S.F. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Sujkowski and Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. from 2 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, where Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial in Young Cemetery in Liberty Center.
