NAPOLEON, O., June 8 - Mrs. Blanche E. Knoll, 74, of Liberty Township, died yesterday in Heller Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Knoll is survived by sons, Henry and Roland, Liberty Township, and John, Santa Rosa, Calif.; daughters, Mrs. Imelda Baker, Liberty Township, and Mrs. Mary Creager, Malinta; brother, Otto Carpenter, Toledo; sister, Mrs. Vida Swartzlander, Toledo; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Wesche Mortuary, the Rev. David L. Eichar of Liberty Center officiating. Burial will be in Young Cemetery, Liberty Center.

Obituary:
Mrs. Blanche E. Knoll was born in Liberty Center, Henry County, O., on March 4, 1883, the daughter of the late A. H. and Mary (Hoffman) Carpenter. She spent her early life in Liberty Center until her marriage to John Knoll on Sept. 4, 1904. They farmed in Paulding and Defiance counties for a time and then returned to Henry County, moving to the present Knoll farm on State Route 24 east of Napoleon 30 years ago.
Mr. Knoll preceded his wife in death on Oct. 9, 1951.
About two weeks ago, a heart condition developed that became so serious that it was necessary for her to be hospitalized. She was brought to the Heller Memorial Hospital where, in spite of all available treatment, she suffered more attacks which resulted in her death at 6:55 p.m. on Friday, June 7, at the age of 74 years, 3 months and 3 days.
Her passing is mourned by, three sons, Henry M. of Liberty Township, John M. of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Roland C. of Liberty Township; two daughters, Mrs. Imelda Baker of Liberty Township, and Mrs. Mary Creager of Malinta; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Vida Swartzlander of Toledo; one brother, Otto Carpenter also of Toledo and other relatives and friends.
Services were conducted from the Wesche Mortuary, Monday, June 10 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. David L. Eichar, pastor of the Liberty Center Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Young’s Cemetery of Liberty Center.
