Donna Mae Kessler, 71, of Liberty Center, died Thursday at her residence.
Born March 31, 1933, she was the daughter of Donald and Grace (Murray) Mowery. On Feb. 21, 1953, she married George Kessler, who survives.
She was a homemaker and helped on the family farm. She also worked for EON Industries, Liberty Center, for 10 years, and for Wauseon Wire. She volunteered with the Liberty Center EMS for 13 years. She was a past Noble Grand and past district deputy president, State of Ohio, for the Union Rebekah Lodge #273, Liberty Center, and a past president for 10 years for the V.F.W. Post #6596 Wives Club, Liberty Center.
She is also survived by a son, George (Karen) of Liberty Center; three daughters, Luann (Bruce) Engler of Liberty Center, Mindy Lee of Knoxville, Tenn., and Tracy (Tom) Rosebrock of Napoleon; a step brother, Charles Cornwell of Toledo; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Seedorf Woods.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Shiloh Christian Union Church of Delta, Pastor Kent Kessler and Pastor Chuck Whitmire officiating. Burial will be at Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Sunday at Wright Funeral Home of Liberty Center, where the Union Rebekah Lodge #273 will hold a service at 4 p.m.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Liberty Center-Washington Township Fire Department, Shiloh Christian Union Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
