Barbara Kessler, 71, of Liberty Center died Monday morning at her residence.
Born Nov. 13, 1929, in Henry County, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Eveland (Tanner) Linthicum, who survives. On Aug. 15, 1947, she married Leslie Kessler, who survives.
She candled eggs for McCulley Egg Co. of Liberty Center. She also worked at the Campbell Soup Co. of Napoleon and drove school bus for Liberty Center Schools for 20 years, retiring in 1989. She was a member of Victory Chapel of Liberty Center and its women's society.
She is also survived by three daughters, Vickie Mohr of Delta, Patricia Strock of Liberty Center and Cindy Overmier of Liberty Center; a son, Rick of Liberty Center; a brother, Neil Veigel of Liberty Center; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Shippy; and a brother, Marion Linthicum.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church of Liberty Center, Pastor Steve Clymer officiating. Interment will be at Youngs Cemetery of Liberty Center.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-9 p.m. at the Wright Funeral Home of Liberty Center.
The family suggests memorials be made to Hospice of Henry County, Victory Chapel or a charity of the donor's choice.
