Watt Jones, 68, of Liberty Center died Thursday evening at his residence.
Born Oct. 28, 1928, in Manassas, Va., he was the son of the late Richard and Nancy (Oden) Jones. On June 19, 1954, he married Lucille Russell, who survives.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, when he was awarded the silver and bronze stars. He was a retired maintenance mechanic with the Campbell Soup Co. with 28 years of service. He was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church of Defiance.
He is also survived by three sons, Jerry of Caldwell, Idaho, Rick of Delta and James of Liberty Center; a sister, Sandra Thomas of Laurel, Md.; a sister, Katherine Pedersen of Frederick, Md.; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Wright Funeral Home of Liberty Center, Pastor Hal Ward officiating. Interment will follow at Youngs Cemetery of Liberty Center.
Visitation will be from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Henry County.
