NAPOLEON, O. - Ira Johnson, 83, of Texas, O., a former school board member and bank director in Liberty Center, O., died Monday in Heller Memorial Hospital, Napoleon.
Mr. Johnson was a retired farmer. He also was a past president of the Liberty Center school board and a director of the Liberty Center Bank.
He was past secretary of the Liberty Center cooperative elevator, and a past noble grand of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, in which he was a 56-year member.
Surviving are his wife, Lucy; daughters, Mrs. Lucille Krueger and Mrs. Lillian Langel, of Whitehouse.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Walker Mortuary, where the body will be after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
