Florence I. Johnson, 78, Toledo, died early this morning in Medical College of Ohio Hospital.
Born in Bowling Green on Oct. 16, 1910, she was the daughter of O. D. and Hulda Finch. On June 9, 1936, she married Lawrence H. Johnson, and he survives.
A former Bowling Green and Liberty Center resident, she had been previously employed by Auto-lite of Toledo and the Heinz Co. in Bowling Green. She was a member of ToIedo's Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and a former member of the Liberty Center V.F.W. Wives Club.
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Finch, and a sister, Dorothy Jackson.
Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Augustine Catholic Church, Napoleon, Father Fred Duschl celebrant. Interment will be in Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Friends may call at the Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center, after 7 p.m. on Wednesday and after 2 p.m. on Thursday. A scripture service will take place at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
