Vernon A. Jennings, 76, Township Road 10, Liberty Center, was dead on arrival at Fulton County Health Center, Wauseon, Thursday morning.
He was born April 6, 1901, in McClure, the son of Bert Jennings and Clara Graner. He married Helen Bollie on August 6, 1927, and she survives.
The deceased was a retired farmer and former employee of the Food Locker in Liberty Center. He was a 50 year member of the Liberty Center Lodge #518 F&AM. He was vice-president of the Liberty Center State Savings Bank.
Surviving, besides his wife, are one daughter, Mrs. Norman (Ruth) Weirauch, Liberty Center; two sisters, Mrs. L. L. (Mildred) Parker, Waterville and Mrs. Orra (Alice) Keith, Liberty Center; one brother, Aubrey Jennings, Liberty Center; three grandsons; and one granddaughter.
Services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Croll-Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center. Reverend Kenneth Brown, pastor of the Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church, will officiate.
Interment will be made in Young Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Friends may call at the mortuary after 7 p.m. on Friday and all day Saturday.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the donors choice.
