Mildred Jennings, 49, wife of W. B. Jennings, prominent Liberty Center merchant, died unexpectedly in her home early Tuesday morning.
Apparently in good health, Mrs. Jennings was doing her household tasks when she collapsed.
The-Napoleon rescue squad was called but she had passed away before they arrived.
Mrs. Jennings was born in Washington Township and was a lifelong member of this community. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, and the Gleaner Lodge. She was a member of the St. John’s Reformed Church of Liberty Center.
She is survived by her husband, Bryan; a son, Raymond, who is a student at Ohio Slate; her father, Clifford Young; and a brother, Melvin Young, Toledo.
Services will be held at 1:30 Friday afternoon from the Walter’s Funeral Home in Liberty Center, with Rev. David Eichar officiating. Interment will be in Young’s Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday night or Thursday. The family would appreciate memorial gifts instead of flowers in memory of Mrs. Jennings.

Mildred Pearl Jennings was born in Washington Township; Henry County, O. on Sept. 1, 1909, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Young, and departed this life on April 22, 1958, at approximately 9 a.m. at her home in Liberty Center.
She had spent her entire life in the vicinity of her birth and on Feb. 19, 1930, she was united in marriage with Bryan Jennings and to this union was born one son, Raymond.
Mrs. Jennings was a member of the Gleaners and the Rebekah lodges and the St. John’s Reformed Church was her church home.
She had a pleasing personality and the love she had in her heart for those near and dear to her is memorable. Her smile and kindness will not soon be forgotten.
Those surviving her departure are: the husband, Bryan, and son, Raymond; her father, Clifford Young, of Liberty Center; one brother, Melvin Young, of Toledo; and other relatives and many friends.
