Helen V. Jennings, 87, of County Road 10, Liberty Center, died Monday morning in Henry County Hospital.
Born Jan. 7, 1900, in Henry County, she was the daughter of Charles and Leah May (Knapp) Bolley.
On Aug. 6, 1927, she married Vernon Jennings, and he preceded her in death Oct. 6, 1977.
She was a school teacher in one-room schoolhouses near Liberty Center and after moving to Toledo was a secretary at Northwest Lumber Co., Toledo, for ten years.
She was a member of Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church and a former member of the Liberty Center Rebekah Lodge.
Jennings is survived by one daughter, Ruth Weirauch of Liberty Center, one sister, Marie Bednarski of Holly, Mich.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 7 p.m. today and after 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, Pastor Marvin Schamaun officiating.
Interment will be made in Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church, Henry County Humane Society or donor’s choice.
