Charles A. Hudson, 70, Sherwood, owner and operator of Hudson's Market, died early Sunday in the Paulding County Hospital.
He was born in Henry County, a son of Harry and Emma (Murray) Hudson, and had resided in Sherwood 18 years.
The deceased was a member of the Sherwood United Methodist Church, the Sherwood Businessmen's Association, a member of the VFW and was a World War I veteran.
Surviving are his wife, the former Leone Bowers; a daughter, Mrs. James (Virginia) Deblin, Liberty Center; two stepdaughters. Mrs. Lowell (Harriet) Brubaker, Liberty Center, and Mrs. Albert (Charlotte) Baden, Sherwood; two half sisters, Mrs. Amy Reimund, McClure, and Mrs. Dick (Lottie) Mohler, Liberty Center; a half brother, Richard Woodward, McClure; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were Wednesday in Greenisen Funeral Home, Sherwood, Reverend Charles Lockie officiating. Interment was in Young Cemetery, Liberty Center.
