Phyllis M. Huber, 88, of Liberty Center died Thursday at St. Luke's Hospital in Maumee.
Born June 20, 1920, in Henry County, she was the daughter of Guy and Grace (Robinson) Hefflinger. On Sept. 29, 1940, she married Raymond H. Huber, who preceded her in death March 10, 1988.
She was employed at the former McCully Egg Co. in Liberty Center and worked as a cook at Liberty Center Schools for many years. She was a member of Liberty Center United Methodist Church and its Women's Society and the Liberty Center Athletic Boosters.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen (Doug) Davis-Howell of Maumee and Marsha (John) Holman of Wauseon; a son, Hal of Bowling Green; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and special friend John Bisher of Archbold.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Lowell Hefflinger; and two sisters, Marjorie Hefflinger and LaVerne Linn.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Liberty Center United Methodist Church, Pastor Don Hague officiating. Interment will follow at Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Saturday at Wright-Hobbs Funeral Home, Liberty Center.
