Obituary:
James A. Hoffer, 71, of 892 East Riverview, Napoleon, died Saturday morning at Henry County Hospital.
Born June 20, 1913, he was the son of Arthur and Alice t Myles i Hoffer. He married Mabel Gephart on December 31, 1954. and she survives.
Mr. Hoffer was employed at Liberty Center Elevator for 42 years and served a number of years as manager.
Surviving besides his wife are two daughters. Mrs. Scott (Susan) Barnes and Janice Hoffer, both of Napoleon, and four sisters. Mrs Dorothy Fields, Lincoln Park, Michigan; Mrs. Mildred Williamson, Muncie, Indiana; Mrs. Roy (Josephine) Stevenson, Delta, and Mrs Mac (Kathryn) Eddy, Lakeside, Arizona. Five brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Services will be conducted at 11 a m. Tuesday at Croll-Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center. The Reverend Terry Powell of Christ United Methodist Church, Napoleon, will officiate. Burial will be in Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Visitation will take place all today at the funeral home. The family suggests any memorials be made to the Napoleon Emergency Medical Squad unit.
