Wayne C. Hoffer

Wayne C. Hoffer, age 60, of 36 Maple Street, Liberty Center, passed away at Wauseon Hospital Tuesday evening. He had been employed as foreman at S. K. Wayne Incorporated, Defiance.

Born in Liberty Center, December 28, 1906. he was the son of Arthur and Alice (Myles) Hoffer.

He leaves one daughter, Miss Josephine Hoffer, three brothers, James of Liberty Center, Ernest of Toledo, and Chester of Holgate, and five sisters, Mrs. Josephine Stevenson, Delta. Mrs. Bertha Bechstine, Swanton, Mrs. Dorothy Fields, Lincoln Park. Michigan, Mrs. Katherine Eddy, Window Rock, Arizona, and Mrs. Mildred Williamson, Elmonte California.

Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday at Walker Mortuary, at 2 p.m., with Reverend Lester Litton, pastor of the Liberty Center Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Young's Cemetery, Liberty Center.
