David Alexander Hoffer, son of Arthur and Alice Hoffer, was born in Liberty Center, Ohio, March 11, 1916. and departed this life in Memorial Hospital, Napoleon, O., February 23, 1932, aged 15 years, 11 months and 12 days.
Some years ago he was baptized by the Rev. D. E. Martz in the St. Johns Reformed Church. He was a faithful attendant of the Sunday school at the Reformed Church, being a member of the Accelerator Class. And he did not fear death. He was a good student in school and a member of the Sophomore Class. He was also a member of the Hi-Y Club.
He had endeared himself to the hearts of his many friends, it being a common thing to hear it said, ‘He was a good boy.’
He leaves to mourn their loss, father, mother, four brothers, Earnest, Wayne, Chester and James, five sisters, Bertha, Mildred, Dorothy, Josephine and Kathryn, besides many other relatives and friends who will miss him.
