Ida J. Wentworth, daughter of James and Sarah Wentworth, was born in Erie county, Ohio, Oct. 31, 1864, and died at her home in Liberty township, Henry county, Ohio, Dec. 10, 1914, aged 50 years, 1 month and 10 days.
the deceased was married to Frank L Hahn March 5, 1885, into this union were born to daughters and one son. She came with her husband to Henry County after her marriage where they work toward securing the farm where they lived comfortably to the time of her death.
Mrs. Hahn united with the M. E. Church in Liberty Center by letter March 20, 1887, of which she remained a devoted and consistent member 27 years until her death. She must have united with the church from which she came early in life. She was a lady of strong social as well as religious tendencies which lead her to unite with the lodges of the Pythian Sisters and the Daughters of Rebecca.
Mrs. Hahn was a faithful wife, a loving mother, a kind and sympathetic neighbor, loved and respected by a multitude of friends.
She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Iva F., wife of Prof. C. I. Daum, and Vivian, wife of A. E. Spiess, and one son, Clarence V. Hahn and his wife, two grandchildren, two sisters, one brother and many brethren and sisters in the church, chosen friends in the lodges and many other friends to mourn her sudden passing from this life.
The funeral services were held at the M. E. Church on Sunday, December 13th at 1 o’clock, the Rev. J. C. Crider officiating. The sermon text was Job 28-1. There is a place for the Gold where they find it.
The daughters of Rebecca and Pythian sisters attended in a body and a large congregation was present. Interment was made in Young’s Cemetery.
