Herman Homer Guyer, the son of John and Lucinda Guyer, was born on a farm in Wood county, Ohio November 28, 1869. He departed this life August 20, 1946.
His parents, who were deeply religious themselves, instilled in the young Herman a love and reverence for the teachings of Jesus. His father and mother were devoted members of the Church og God, and he also became a member.
While a boy he became associated with his father as a carpenter and woodworker. In this field he was particularly outstanding.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his beloved wife, Maude B., one son Bruce; daughter-in-law Helen M; one granddaughter, PaulaGene M., and a host of friends and relatives.
