Mrs. F. Jean Gruber, 52, Liberty Center, died Tuesday evening at Heller Memorial Hospital, Napoleon.
She was born November 26, 1922, in Malinta, the daughter of Vercoe and Helen (Travis) Cunningham. She married Bruce Gruber January 9, 1943, and he survives.
She was employed as a cafeteria aid in the Liberty Center School. She was a member of Liberty Center United Methodist Church, V.F.W. Wives, Liberty Center, O.E.S. Pacific Chapter No. 63, and was a Past Matron and Past Noble Grand of the Rebecca Lodge.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Carl (Barbara) Carter, Liberty Center; one son, Daryl, Toledo; and five grandchildren.
Two brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Croll-Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center, with Reverend Joseph L. Burnett officiating.
Interment will be in Young Cemetery, Liberty Center.
An O.E.S. service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday.
The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
