Clinton A. Gruber, 81, died at his home on Maple St. in Liberty Center Tuesday morning.
Mr. Gruber was a native of Liberty Center and was employed by the Overland plant in Toledo for many years.
Funeral services will be on Thursday at the Fiser Funeral home with Rev. Wayne Goldsmith officiating.

CLINTON A. GRUBER
Services were held at the Fiser Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. Thursday for Clinton A. Gruber, Liberty Center, who died at his home in Liberty Center March 12. Officiating at the services was the Rev. Wayne Goldsmith. Burial was in Young’s Cemetery.
Mr. Gruber was born April, 27, 1881, the son of James E. and Catherine Gruber. He lived practically all his life in Liberty Center. He was a retired employee of the Willys Motors plant in Toledo.
He is survived by his wife, Blanche; sons, Thornton, Liberty Center; Ruel, Waterville; daughters, Mrs. Lillian Shepler, Whitehouse; Mrs. Katherine Smith, Darian, Conn.; stepchildren, Paul Slee, Napoleon; Keith Slee, Colton; Wilda Johns, Waterville; Harold Slee, Liberty Center, and Clyde Slee, Liberty Center.
