George W. Graner, 74, died suddenly at his home in Liberty early Wednesday morning. He had been in ill health for more than a year and a sudden heart attack proved fatal.
Funeral services will be held at the Graner home on Saturday, Sept. 3 at 2 p.m. Friends may call there to pay respects.

Born on Nov. 7, 1874, he was 74 years, 9 months and 24 days old at the time of his passing. Well-liked and respected for his faithful interest in the welfare of his fellow men he is sadly missed by all those who knew him.

George William Graner, son of Alice and Charles William Graner, was born Nov. 7, 1874, and departed this life at his home in Liberty Center, O., Aug. 31, 1949, at the age of 74 years, 9 months and 24 days.
He was united in marriage with Adeline Hoffman March 27, 1896, and to this union were born three children, one son and two daughters.

He was a kind and loving father and he leaves to mourn their loss: the son, Arthur, and the daughters, Mrs. Rollie Boulis and Mrs. Carl Ernst; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild; three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Blair, Mrs. Clara Jennings, Mrs. Della Warner, and one brother, Charles Graner, all of Liberty Center, and other relatives and a host of friends.
His father, mother, wife and two grandsons have preceded him in death.
For the past several years Mr. Graner had been employer by the Creager road construction company and was a faithful worker.
Services were held from the home Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. David L. Eichar officiating, and the Walter funeral home, in charge. Burial was in Young’s cemetery.
