Glenn Alfred Gramling May 29, 1919 - Oct. 10, 1999
Glenn Gramling, 80, of Napoleon and formerly of Liberty Center, died Sunday at the Lutheran Home at Napoleon.
Born May 29, 1919, in Liberty Center, he was the son of John and Florence (Jennings) Gramling. On Feb. 14, 1941, he married Ruth Ziegler, who survives.
He was a farmer until retiring in 1990. He was a member of Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church of Liberty Center and its Men’s Club, and was also a Sunday school superintendent. He was a member of the Henry County Farm Bureau and the Farm Bureau Council.
He is also survived by four daughters, Bonnie Dunmire of Napoleon, Linda D’Lamater of Hudson, Mich., LuAnn Williams of Napoleon and Joyce Chapla of Mishawaka, Ind.; three sisters, Ruth Bristol of Napoleon, Nina Travis of Delta and Phyllis Sharpe of Liberty Center; a brother, Harry of Liberty Center; and four grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church, Rev. Lynn Huffman officiating. Interment will be at Youngs Cemetery of Liberty Center.
Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. today and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Wright Funeral Home of Liberty Center.
