Dr. John “Jack” H. Glick April 13, 1914 - June 8, 1999
Dr. John “Jack” Glick, 85, of Lima and formerly of Napoleon died Tuesday evening at the Outlook Point Assisted Living Center of Lima.
Born April 13, 1914, in South Bend, Ind., he was the son of Christian and Ethel (Roloff) Glick. On Feb. 20, 1939, he married Wilda Ormey, who preceded him in death in 1983. On July 26, 1983, he married Lois Geary, who preceded him in death on Feb. 14, 1996.
He was a retired optometrist. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Napoleon. He was a World War II Navy veteran and member of the V.F.W. Post #8218 of Napoleon. He was also a member of the Napoleon Rotary Club, the Hiawatha Club of Michigan, the Napoleon Elks Lodge #929, a 32nd degree Mason and the Zenobia Shrine Club.
He is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Kugler of Lima, Helen Osvath of Key Largo, Fla., and Cheri Miller of Fortville, Ind.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Bemon.
Services will be 7:30 p.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church of Napoleon, Rev. Charles Kamp officiating. Military honors will be accorded after the service at the church. Interment will be private.
Visitation will be at the church an hour prior to the service at the church.
The family suggests memorials be made to the church.
