Guy L. Gilson, son of Frank P. and Mary E. Gilson, was born October 12th, 1880 in Freedom twp., Henry county, Ohio and departed this life Thursday evening, March 27, 1947 at the Overmier Convalescent home at Liberty Center at the age of 66 years, . 4 months and 15 days.

On November 17th, 1907 he was united in marriage with Beryl Heist of Liberty Center. To this union was born three sons, Selwin, Delmar and Leo. His wife preceded him in death November 2, 1934 and his youngest son a year ago.

He leaves to mourn his passing his two sons, who live at home near Liberty Center, one sister, Mrs. Charles Segrist, Wauseon, one brother, Fred, also of Wauseon, and another brother, Ivan. of Phoenix, Arizona.

Funeral services were held at the J. E. Segrist home Monday afternoon with Rev. W. A. Piper officiating. Interment in Young's Cemetery.
