Frances Gillan, 85, of Napoleon died Sunday morning at Country View Haven.
Born in Indiana Nov. 21, 1905, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Seymour Ide. On April 23, 1960 she married Charles F. Gillan, and he preceded her in death Jan. 24, 1981.
She had previously been employed as a cook by Hess's Restaurant and had also owned the Lamplighter Restaurant, both located in Liberty Center. She was a lifetime member of the Napoleon V.F.W. #8218 Auxiliary.
Surviving are a son, Melvin Ankney of Napoleon; a daughter, Betty Van Dyke of Alverton, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center, Rev. Orville Awe officiating. Interment will be at Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday.
