Obituary:
Esther M. Geiger, 81, Liberty Center, died at her home on Sunday morning.
Born January 11, 1902, in Defiance, she was the daughter of William and Katherine (Troijer) Bohlke. She married Charles Ripke, and he died in 1922. In 1925, she married William Geiger, and he died in 1959.
Surviving are five sons, Charles Ripke of Defiance; Ervin Geiger, North Manchester, Indiana; Kenneth Geiger of Delta; Gerald Geiger of Archbold, and Robert Geiger of Pemberville; a sister, Mrs. Louise Anderson; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Geiger was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Liberty Center, and secretary of its women’s group.
Services will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m., at the church. The Reverend Paul Baumann will officiate, and interment will be in Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. today and Tuesday afternoon and evening at Croll-Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center. The family suggests any memorials be made to the church.
