Zelma M. Fredrick, 86, Liberty Center, died Tuesday morning at her residence.
Born in Williams County on April 18, 1900, she was the daughter of Martin Burgoon and Mary (Sworden). She married Lawrence Fredrick, Sept. 13, 1917, who survives. They owned and operated Nationwide Grocery in Liberty Center from 1917 to 1942.
She was a member of the Liberty Center United Methodist Church and Pacific Chapter 63 Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving besides her husband are one daughter, Carolyn Jean Plassman, Napoleon; one sister, Helen Fredrick, Liberty Center; two grandsons; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Ganell Fredrick, and two brothers, Ivan and Harold Burgoon.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Liberty Center
United Methodist Church with Rev. Isaac Johnston and Rev. Jospeh L. Burnett officiating. Interment will be in Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at Croll-Wright Funeral Home, where an Eastern Star memorial service will be held at 8 p.m.
