Essie Fredrick

Mrs. Essie Fredrick, 93, a former Liberty Center area resident, died Wednesday at Mercy Hospital in Toledo after a long illness.

Born in Henry County on February 17, 1882, she was the daughter of Noah Hite and Sarah Jane Kershner. She married Charles R. Fredrick and he preceded her in death in February of 1939.

Surviving are two sons, Lloyd, Toledo, and Walter, Temperance, Michigan; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; and two brothers, Harvey Hite, Toledo, and Lester Hite, Swanton.

Friends may call at the Walker-Feilbach Funeral Home, 4315 Talmadge Road, Toledo, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday.

Funeral services, conducted by Reverend Richard C. Reynolds, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the mortuary. Interment will be in Young Cemetery, Liberty Center.
