Estell Frankforther, 75, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2002, at Swanpointe Care Center in Maumee. She retired from Value City in Maumee having worked there for 10 years. Mrs. Frankforther was a lifelong homemaker and devoted wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Frankforther was born on October 6, 1927, in Hamilton, AL, to James and Dora Green. On September 24, 1951, she married Carl Frankforther and he survives. She was a long term member of Bethel Assembly of God Church in Perrysburg.
Surviving besides her husband, Carl; are two sons, Wade (Cathy) of Burlington, IA, Mark (Michelle) of Toledo; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Eric, Amy and TJ, and great grandchildren, Syndes, Skylar and Pillon. Preceding her in death besides her parents was one son, Jerry; three brothers, Dalton, Dual, and Quinton Green, and sister, Minnie Kurasaka.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 24, 2002, at the Grisier Funeral Home, in Delta. Interment will follow in the Young Cemetery in Liberty Center, OH. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday and 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Bethel Assembly of God Church in Perrysburg.
