Ruth D. Frank, 75, Wauseon, died Sunday morning in the Fulton County Health Center.
Born in Henry County on July 2, 1910, she was the daughter of Alva and Amelia (Bauer) Ort. She was united in marriage to Lawson Shock, who preceded her in death in 1959. Later, she married, William Frank, who survives.
With over 30 years of service, she retired as manager of Fulton County Office of the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Office, Wauseon. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Wauseon; Business and Professional Women; Hospital Ladies Auxiliary and the Busy Yorkers Club of the Fulton County Extension Office.
Surviving besides her husband, William, are two daughers, Rehta Weber, Pettisvlle; Marilyn Canitia, Parma, Ohio; two stepsons, Donald and William Frank, Jr., both of Wauseon; three stepdaughters, Linda Lammon, Wauseon; Denise Dunning, Grover Hill, Ohio; and Mary Shenfeld, Fort Wayne, Ind.; two brothers, Virgil Ort, Bowling Green, and Morris Ort, Wilbraham, Mass; two sisters, Marjorie Sharpe, Toledo, and LaVanche Glanz, Berea, Ohio; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. in the Trinity Lutheran Church, Wauseon, with Rev. Richard L. Schwenkmeyer officiating. Interment will be in Young Cemetery, Liberty Center.
