Obituary:
Funeral arrangements have been set for Clarence H. Fosnow, 85, who died in the Arab Hospital, Arab, Alabama, Monday afternoon. Fosnow formerly resided in Liberty Center.
Services will be at 1 p. m. Thursday in the Croll-Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center, with the Reverend Philip Parks officiating. Interment will be in the Young Cemetery, Liberty Cemetery.
Fosnow was born on November 8, 1897, in Deshler, son of Julius and Catherine (Burke) Fosnow. He was married on July 18, 1942, to Esther Gladys Fry, who preceded him in death on May 26, 1977.
Fosnow had worked as a machinist at Champion Spark Plugs, Toledo. He was a member of the Liberty Center Wesleyan Church and the UAW-CIO Union.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Blair (Betty Jean) Stentz of Arab, Alabama; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Huffine, Mrs. Herman (Edith) Durlait, both of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; two grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
