Edward Martin Fahringer, son of the late George and Alice Zimmerman Fahringer, was born near Liberty Center, O., on April 25, 1883 arid departed this life at the Heller Memorial Hospital in Napoleon on Aug. 13, 1959 at the age of 76 years, 3 months and 18 days.
In the year 1906 he was united in marriage to Zoa Warner, also of Liberty Center and to this union was born a daughter. Both mother and daughter passed away the following year.
In Jan. 1911 he was united in marriage to Lillian Herkimer. To this union was born six sons and four daughters. She preceded him in death in April, 1946. Three sons and a daughter also preceded their father in death.
Most of his life was spent in Henry County, O. Until his health failed, he was engaged in farming.
Surviving are three sons; Orville and Walter of Liberty Center, and Robert of Napoleon; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Green of Warren, Mich.; Mrs. William Gunn, of Delta, and Mrs. Richard Hockman of Napoleon; 22 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Ida Mohler of Liberty Center, besides a host of other relatives and friends.
