Allen Edward Evans, 80, of Liberty Center died today at his residence.
Born Jan. 16, 1925, in Olive Hill, Ky., he was the son of Charles and Jenny (Conn) Evans. He married Lorraine Roberts, who survives.
He was a World War II Army veteran and was a tow motor driver at the Campbell Soup Supply Co. warehouse. He was also a member of Victory Chapel United Brethren Church, Liberty Center.
He is also survived by two daugthers, Sharon (Andy) Brendez and Vickie (Billy) Williams, both of Liberty Center; three sisters, Murl Shumace of Mansfield, Magdolene (Sherman) Clark of Enterprise, Ky., and Esther Hall of Moorehead, Ky.; a brother, Steral (Zelma) of Ironton, Ohio; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Nigel and Charles Jr.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center, Rev. Bobbie Butler and Rev. Charles Alley officiating. Interment will be at Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
