Eugene Ellsworth. 69, Road T., Rt. 2, Liberty Center, Ohio died Wednesday afternoon Nov. 20, 1974 In Heller Memorial Hospital, Napoleon, where he was taken by the Liberty Center Rescue Squad after suffering an apparent heart attack.
The son of Frank and Eugenia (Anglemyre) Ellwsorth, he was born Sept. 18, 1905 in Henry County and had spent hls entire life on the farm where he was born. He was a farmer all his life and was still farming.
He was a member of the Liberty Center United Methodist Church and chairman of Its board of trustees; a member of Texas International Order of Odd Fellows and also of the East Liberty Farm Bureau Council.
He was married to Lovell Tanier on Aug. 28, 1926 and she survives together with one daughter, Mrs. Nell (Kathleen) Veigel of Novi, Michigan; one foster daughter, Mrs, James (Bernadlne) Clark of Alvordton; three grandchildren; one great-grandson and three foster grandchildren.
Funeral services were held In the Croll-Wrlght Funeral Home In Liberty Center on Saturday. Rev. Joseph L. Burnett officiated and interment was made In Young Cemetery in Liberty Center.
The deceased would have received his five year pin Nov. 25 as director of the Washington township Red Cross. He had been a salesman for Funk Seed Corn, and owner and operator of Vita Full Eggs for the past 26 years.
