Louisa Alspaugh, daughter of Michael and Sarah Alspaugh, was born at Baltimore, Fairfield county, Ohio, April 25, 1839, and died at Liberty Center Jan. 27, 1910, aged 70 years, 9 months and 2 days. She was married to Daniel Ehrgood, April 24,1809. To them were born two children, both of whom aro living: Mrs. Verdilla Bryan, of Liberty Center, and C. J. Ehrgood, of Napoleon. Five grandchildren are left to mourn her death. She is also survived by four sisters and one brother: Mrs. Rushon and Mrs. Messerley, Fairfield county, Mrs. Howard Foncanon, Mrs. Marion Weakley and Naaman Alspaugh, all of Liberty Center.

She was converted in youth, and has been a faithful member of the Methodist church for fifty years.

Funeral was conducted at the M. E. church by her pastor, Sunday morning, after which interment was made in Young’s cemetery.
