Josephine L. Durham, 76, of Holland, Ohio, died Monday morning at the Heatherdowns Convalescent Center, Toledo.
A former Liberty Center resident, she was born in Napoleon Feb. 26, 1914, to Ray and Lillie (Kasky) Rasey. On Sept. 1, 1932, she married Herbert Durham, who preceded her in death Feb. 21, 1976.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Liberty Center United Methodist Church, where she had formerly served as a Sunday School superintendent and teacher.
Surviving are three daughters Sally Rising of Delta, Marilyn Wittes of Neapolis and Patricia Briner of Maumee; four brothers, Eugene, Harold and Ronald Rasey, all of Toledo, and Ray Rasey of Napoleon; two sisters, Betty Rohrs of Fort Wayne and Edna Burkhart of Liberty Center; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a brother, Lloyd Rasey; a sister, Agne Deakin; and two grandsons.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Walker Mortuary, Napolean, Rev. Gerald Lewis officiating. Interment will be at Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Friends may call at the mortuary from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
Memorials may be made to the Henry County Chapter of the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Foundation or the church.
