Ruth A. Desgrange, 71, of Liberty Center, was found dead in her home Sunday afternoon due to natural causes.
She was born in Henry County on Sept. 22, 1915 to Charles K. and Rella (Weirich) Crawford. On June 15, 1946 she married Albert Jay Desgrange and he preceded her in death on June 15, 1975.
She was a former school bus driver for the Liberty Center School District retiring in 1967 and was a motor vehicle license registrar in Liberty Center. She was a member of the Moose Lodge, Napoleon; American Legion Auxiliary of Liberty Center and the Order of Eastern Stars, Toledo.
Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Marylyn Jeffers of Philadelphia, Pa.; two sons, Allan and Douglas, both of Wauseon; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Ellen Van Patton of Liberty Center and Mrs. Evelyn Parker of Toledo and a brother, George, of Toledo.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in Croll-Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center with the Rev. Issac Johnston, officiating. Interment will follow in Young Cemetery.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. Tuesday and after 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Legion Auxiliary services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday and Moose Lodge services at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
