Virginia Rose Deblin, 85, of Napoleon and formerly of Liberty Center, died Tuesday at Northcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born Oct. 28, 1920, in Napoleon, she was the daughter of Charles and Coral (Rhoads) Hudson. On June 26, 1943, she married James C. Deblin, who preceded her in death July 2, 1990.
She worked at Campbell Soup Supply Co., Fulton Industries, Wauseon, owned and operated Charm Room Beauty Salon, Liberty Center, was a cashier at the truck stop in Napoleon and a receptionist for Dr. Keith Fuqua, dentist. She was also a volunteer at Northcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, doing manicures from 1986-1990. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Liberty Center.
She is survived by a daughter, Mindi (Ken) Burton-Slawinski, Delta; a son, Randy (Diane) Deblin of Napoleon; a sister, Charlotte (Al) Baden of Bryan; four grandchildren; two step grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Harriet Brubaker.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Liberty Center, Pastor Jeffrey Stone officiating. Interment will be at Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center.
