Ned Davis Nov. 4, 1930 - Feb. 4, 1992
Ned Davis, 61, of Liberty Center died Tuesday evening at the Fulton County Health Center.
Born in Liberty Township of Henry County Nov. 4, 1930, he was the son of W. Ray and Hazel (Fry) Davis. On June 25, 1949, he married Doris Hill, who survives.
A retired Henry County Highway Department employee, he was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the Victory Chapel Church in Liberty Center, the McClure American Legion Post #332 and the Napoleon Moose Lodge #788.
Also surviving are a son, Glenn of Napoleon; a daughter, Sandra Tanner of Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.; a sister, Geneva Sharp of Fort Myers, Fla.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy and Russell.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, Rev. Donald Merillat officiating. Interment will be at the Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center, where military graveside rites will be accorded by members of the McClure American Legion.
Friends may call at the mortuary from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday.
Memorials may be made to the Henry County Chapter of the American Cancer Society or the church.
