Obituary:
Hazel Martha Davis, 88, of Liberty Center, died early today at Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green.
She was born April 19, 1896, in Putnam County, to Henry and Hattie (Spitznaugle) Fry. She married Raymond Davis, and he preceded her in death in 1962.
Surviving are two sons, Russell and Ned, both of Liberty Center; a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Geneva) Sharpe, Liberty Center; two brothers, William, of Liberty Center, and Henry, of East Tawas, Michigan; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Sallah of Pontiac, Michigan, and Mrs. Victor (Edna) Wallace, Toledo; 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
A son, Leroy, died in 1976.
Mrs. Davis was a member of Victory Chapel United Brethren Church and its building committee and a former member of Mothers of World War II, Liberty Center, and Liberty Center American Legion Auxiliary.
Services will be held Tuesday, 2 p.m., at Walker Mortuary. The Reverend Varion Thorpe will officiate, and burial will follow in Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center. Preferred memorials are to the Arthritis Foundation or the church.
