Margaret L. Daso, 86, formerly of Cherry Street in Liberty Center, died Wednesday morning at St. Anne Nursing Home in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
She was born January 31, 1892, in Kunkle, the daughter of George Weidner and Margaret Connelly. She married George R. Daso, a former Ford dealer in Liberty Center, and he preceded her in death in 1957.
The deceased was a 50-year member of the Gleaners, a 48-year member of the Liberty Center Rebekah Lodge. She was a member of the Past Noble Grand Club, a charter member of the Methodist Women Society of Liberty Center, and served as past president of the Liberty Center band mothers club.
Surviving are one son, Morris R. Daso, Napoleon; two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Donna) Lotz, Fort Wayne, Indiana; and Mrs. Richard (Dorothy) Ernst, Liberty Center; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. One daughter, Frances Spiess, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Croll-Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center.
Interment will be made in Young Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. on Thursday. A Rebekah service will be held at 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Heart Association.
