Margaret Jean Creager May 14, 1925 - Jan. 10, 2001
Margaret Creager, 75, of Liberty Center died Wednesday morning at Fulton Manor Care Center of Wauseon.
Born May 14, 1925, in Cleveland, she was the daughter of George and Margaret (Wrigley) Lance. On June 23, 1945, she married Ralph Creager, who survives.
She was a homemaker and was a teacher's aide at the Maumee Youth Camp. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church of Napoleon, where she was the secretary/treasurer of the Episcopal Church Women. She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is also survived by three daughters, Cheryl Houghtby of Adrian, Mich., Mary Beth Slee of Liberty Center and Julie Holdsworth of Valley Mills, Texas; a sister, Barbara Kaiser of Needham, Mass.; and five grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church of Napoleon, Father Scott Woodstuff officiating. Interment will be at Youngs Cemetery of Liberty Center.
Visitation will be from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Wright Funeral Home of Liberty Center.
The family suggests memorials be made to Friends of Liberty Center Library or the memorial fund of St. John's Episcopal Church.
