Obituary:
Robert J. Crawford, 62, died Thursday evening at Lake Park Care Center, Sylvania, where he had resided 10 years.
A Liberty Center native, he was born November 1, 1920, to Charles and Rella (Weirich) Crawford. He married Viola Desgrange.
Surviving are three sons, David, of Ottawa Lake, Michigan; James, of Toledo, and Ronald; a daughter, Linda, of Rock Island, Illinois; one brother, George, of Toledo; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Ellen Van Patten and Mrs. Ruth Desgrange, both of Liberty Center, and Mrs. Evelyn Parker, of Toledo; and five grandchildren.
Mr. Crawford was a veteran of World War II. He was a heavy equipment operator for Kuhlman Concrete, Toledo, before his retirement.
Services will be held Tuesday, 2 p.m., at Croll-Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center, where visitation will be conducted after 7 p.m. Monday. Interment will be in Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center.
