This community was shocked to learn of the death of Mrs. G. A Crawford Sunday morning. She had been ill for about a week or 10 days with influenza, which developed into pneumonia, but her condition was not considered critical. At the arrival of the turning point, however, she had not the strength pass safely over.
Mrs. Crawford was a greatly loved and highly respected lady, a devoted wife and mother and a good neighbor and friend. She had friends by the score and few if any enemies. She was of a sunny, jovial disposition, always had a cheery smile and encouraging word for all. For many years she had taught one of the infant classes in the Reformed church Sunday school, of which church she was a member.
Mrs. Crawford was born in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania and was in her 66th year.
Funeral services will be held at the Reformed Church this Thursday forenoon at 10 o‘clock, Rev. D. E. Martz officiating. Interment in Young’s Cemetery.
